Ikano named 'One to watch' in the Sunday Times Best Companies list

Ikano Financial Services, the retail loyalty and finance specialist, has been described as ‘One to Watch’, in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For listing 2012.

Recognised in the Small Companies category, Ikano Financial Services, which employs 247 people at its Nottingham head office, achieved the accolade by demonstrating ongoing commitment to its people, and for its considerable efforts to give something back to the community.

The company provides loyalty and finance products and services to major retailers such as DFS, Jaeger and IKEA. Closer to home, it is an active supporter of children’s charities such as Rainbows Children’s Hospice, and also works very closely in support of the Robin Hood Mini Marathon and Nottingham’s Broadway Cinema.

Stephen Burnside, managing director, at Ikano Financial Services, said:

“These awards don’t measure success through profit and growth, they measure a company’s commitment to its people and community. This includes leadership, management, team, well being and fairness.

“They are also about giving back to the community, and we are delighted to have scored highly in this area, as supporting the Nottinghamshire community is a key part of our values.”

Ikano Financial Services is already working towards the Sunday Times Best Companies 2013, where it hopes to rank in the top 100.
