Double award win for Ikano Bank’s table-topping savings and loans products

  •  ‘Best Fixed Rate Savings Provider’ at the Moneynet Awards
  •  ‘Best Personal Loan Provider’ for personal loans product

Co-workers at Ikano Bank, the Swedish bank based in Nottingham, are celebrating winning two Moneynet Awards for 2017.

The awards recognise excellent choice and financially sound deals for consumers and are organised by Moneynet, one of the longest established personal finance information sites in the UK.

Ikano Bank won out in both the ‘Best Fixed Rate Savings Provider’ and ‘Best Personal Loan Provider’ categories.

The bank currently offers five Fixed Saver accounts (1-5 years), with two product rates currently topping best-buy tables. They also offer competitively priced, simple, low cost online personal loans from £1,000 to £15,000.

Simon Ripton Head of Consumer Banking at Ikano Bank, said: "Our simple personal loans help people to pay for the things they need in their lives, from weddings to buying a new car, at an extremely competitive rate. The same principle of simplicity allows us to offer market-leading savings rates. It’s encouraging to receive industry recognition for this simple and honest approach to personal finance – and from such a sought-after and independent source.”

Andrew Hagger chair of the Moneynet judging panel added: “It has been another fiercely competitive year for savings and loans providers, but Ikano Bank stood out in their field and delivered excellent choice, transparency, and value.”
